オマーン観光大学の学生と一緒に、つるぎ町にある永井家は1791年江戸時代に建築された庄屋屋敷に行きました。
そこで侍時代の日本の生活・文化を体験できます。
広大な大地のオマーンとは対象的な狭い日本の部屋に興味津々。
何故か裏部屋の一番狭い部屋がとても気に入った様子です。
彼らは、家の中でも天井も低く一番狭い部屋に全員集合して座り込みます。
侍時代の人々の身長の低さを体感できる家です。
永井家庄屋屋敷には、いろんな物が展示されています。
蜂須賀家から贈られた琴や、女の子の成長を願う雛人形、往診に使った人力車、薬だんす、花嫁が乗った籠。
私達は当時の庄屋や医師の生活が解ります。
つるぎ町貞光の商店街には明治時代初期の町並みが残ります。その各家には「二層うだつ」がありとても見事です。
「うだつ」というのは元々は家と家の防火壁として造られたものですが、家の裕福さを競うように作られました。
ここのうだつは「二層うだつ」で全国的に見ても珍しく、うだつの正面には各家ごとに異なる美しい絵模様がコテで施されています。
この町並みの建物はすべて現役で商店として今も利用されています。その中で一軒の建物は見学できます。
元造り酒屋の織本屋です。
ここも彼らを案内しました。

We are a student of Oman tourism collage (Oman Tourism College).
We visited the Nagai family’s residence of Village headman in the Tsurugi town .
We experienced the Japanese culture of the Samurai era.
It is a residence of Village headman built in 1791.
We can feel the lives of the days of the samurai in that house.
Everyone is curious about the vast land of Oman and the target narrow Japanese room.
They sit down in the narrowest room with the ceiling low even in the house.
It is a house where you can experience the low height of the people of the Samurai era.
Many things are on display there.
Japanese harp awarded by lord of Hatisuka, dolls wishing for the growth of girls, rickshaws used for visits, medicine chests, baskets on which the bride came.
We understand life of Village headman and doctors of those days.
